We Work for Humanity: Giving Refugees the Tools to Rebuild Their Future
For young refugees, the future can feel uncertain. But with the proper support, it can also be full of possibilities. In April 2024, LIPPA launched the “We Work for Humanity” project in Southern Turkey, designed to give refugees the skills and support they need to move forward.
Empowering Young Women Through Design
Education is a pathway to independence. This project focused on training young refugee girls in design programs, providing them with valuable digital and creative skills that open doors to new opportunities. These young women gained tools to build a more self-sufficient and empowered future by learning graphic design, digital art, and technical software.
Healing Through Psychological Support
Displacement leaves more than just physical scars—it profoundly affects mental well-being. That’s why LIPPA integrated psychological support sessions for refugee children, helping them process trauma, find emotional stability, and regain a sense of normalcy. Through therapy, group discussions, and creative expression, these sessions provided a safe space for children to heal, express themselves, and rebuild confidence.
A Future Built on Skills and Strength
At LIPPA, we believe in more than just temporary aid—we believe in providing lasting solutions. By offering professional training and mental health support, “We Work for Humanity” gives refugees the tools to thrive, not just survive.
Because every child deserves a future of possibilities, and every young woman deserves the skills to shape her destiny.
This project wasn’t just about education or therapy but about empowerment. It was about turning pain into strength, uncertainty into opportunity, and struggle into resilience.
At LIPPA, we believe in helping and equipping people with the tools to help themselves. Because a brighter future isn’t given; it’s built.
