LIPPA Hygiene Kits Emergency Response – Protecting Health, Restoring Dignity

In humanitarian crises, hygiene is often overlooked—but it is essential. When families are forced into overcrowded shelters with limited access to clean water, staying healthy becomes a daily battle. Without basic hygiene supplies, the risk of infections and disease outbreaks increases, putting the most vulnerable—women, children, and the elderly—in even greater danger.

That’s why in October 2024, LIPPA, in collaboration with CCN and DCI Lebanon, launched the “Hygiene Kits Emergency Response” project. With conflict displacing thousands across Mount Lebanon, this initiative provided 50 families with essential hygiene supplies to help them maintain health and dignity in extreme hardship.

Essential Aid for Everyday Survival

Shelters are meant to offer safety, but they can become breeding grounds for illness without proper hygiene. To prevent this, LIPPA distributed hygiene kits carefully designed to meet urgent needs, including:

  • Soap & shampoo – Ensuring access to personal hygiene essentials.
  • Sanitary pads & diapers – Supporting women and infants with critical supplies
  •  Cleaning materials – Helping families maintain safer, healthier spaces.

A Lifeline for Families in Crisis

Clean water and sanitation aren’t luxuries—they’re fundamental to survival. By working closely with local authorities and community partners, LIPPA ensured these kits reached those who needed them most efficiently, respectfully, and by humanitarian standards.

LIPPA doesn’t just provide aid—we listen, assess, and act to create meaningful, lasting impact. In times of crisis, every small act of care can change lives. With this project, we took one step closer to protecting Lebanon’s displaced communities’ health, safety, and dignity—because no one should have to fight for basic human needs.
